Black Magick

Black magick has traditionally been thought of as dark magick, the use of supernatural powers for evil and selfish purposes - the left-hand path -  the malicious use of magick.   The definition of "black magic" has been corrupted by religious people to define  as "black magick" all magic or ritualistic practices they disapprove of.  Magick is spelled with a "k" to distinguish it from  fake (or stage-)magic.

Famed Black Magician, Aleister Crowley, set forth this rule for magic. Do what thou wilt and harm none, which definition has left itself open to much interpretation.

A modern magician has set forth these rules:

(1) Do nothing that will harm another being unless you're willing to suffer like or greater harm.

(2) Don't bind any other free being unless you are willing to be likewise bound,

(3) Never use magic for pride or to "show off".

(4) Never set a price for the use of your magical knowledge and ability

(5) Use no symbol, spell, or incantation that you don't understand clearly and completely,

(6) Never do a spell without first doing divination to determine (a)if you should do it and (b)exactly what needs to be dealt with.

Way too complicated!

Here's the fact. True black magick is the practice of using the supernatural to do things to, or for, someone without their knowledge or consent.

In other words, most love spells are black magick and so is praying for someone who does not want you to pray for him/her.

This does not mean you cannot do love spells or pray for someone. It means that, technically, it is black magick. So be sure you know what you are doing.
