Creation |
Creation
was invented by a Hebrew professor. About 1660, as
a result of his most profound and exhaustive study of the scriptures,
Dr. John Lightfoot, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, and
one of the most eminent Hebrew scholars of his time, declared,, that
"heaven and earth, centre and circumference, were created all together,
in the same instant, and clouds full of water," and that "this work took
place and man was created by the Trinity on October 23, 4004 B.C., at
nine o'clock in the morning."
Unity Church
co-founder Charles Fillmore wrote:
God did not set creation in
motion and go away and let it to run down like a clock.

God is Spirit, infinite Mind, the immanent force and intelligence
everywhere manifest in nature. God is the silent voice
In the
powerful
TV series based on his
book,
The Power of Myth (1988)
Professor Joseph Campbell announced that
"each of us is the incarnation of God.
We are all manifestations of the Buddha consciousness or
Christ
consciousness
only
we don’t know it."
In the Old Testament (Exodus 3:14) God declared in Hebrew (ehyeh asher ehyeh), "I am (all) that is.”
The ancient Hindus
also
saw God as the only reality.
Everything else
being less than
real because all else is
temporary, having a beginning and an
end.
Everything is subject to change. God
alone is eternal and unchangeable.
The Hindus decribed the space/time universe as being the
"dream of Brahma". Since we are Brahma/God’s
thoughts, we
are part of God.
God is
the
active force behind all
things, all of reality.
