Richard E.(Dick) Sutphen
was born
April 3, 1937 in Omaha, Nebraska,
He was previously married to Tara
Sutphen.
Dick was a well known ‘past
life regression therapist’
and psychic researcher.
In 1976
Dick Sutphen was
the first person to create and
mass-market hypnosis on tape. He was
a best-selling author and pioneer in
the research of brain-mind He
announced his retirement (and a
return to painting) September 2019.
At the time of his death Dick lived
with his wife Roberta Witters and
their puppies in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dick
Sutphen was called "America's
foremost psychic researcher" by
Simon & Schuster Pocket Books, and
"American's leading past-life
therapist" by the Mind Body Spirit
Festivals in London, England and
Sydney, Australia. In addition to
writing the million-copy bestseller,
You Were Born Again To Be Together,
he has authored 23 additional

Books. Dick is primarily known for
his books and seminars on
reincarnation and mind-programming.

hypnosis tapes in 1976. Today the

In 2000, he released a theta-wave
and delta-pulse CD called The
Zapper. The professional-hypnotist
community immediately accepted it to
use in hypnotizing subjects in
counseling sessions. In the past
three years dozens of new CD titles
have followed using this and related
technology.Dick has appeared on
hundreds of radio and TV shows,
including Phil Donahue, Good Morning
America, and Tom Snyder's Tomorrow
Show where he conducted the first
